Lindy Bop - Kendra Capri Pants & Cilla shirt.

Hi guys! Today's post brings you two new items from Lindy Bop's summer range. I haven't ordered from them in months but once I had gotten my hands on a 25% off code, I couldn't resist taking a sneak peak. I found these two beautie and since becoming part of the pin up and vintage world, I haven't bought any sort of 'cropped' trousers or capris, so with this discount code, I thought the time was right.

I mostly associate Lindy Bop for their super reasonably priced dresses and I've not paid much attention to the rest of their range. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw these separates on their website. The 'Cilla' top comes in 5 different colour-ways, there's a lot of variety in colour; from a bold green to a strong statement red. I chose to go for the white one as I've been searching for a lovely white top to match with other separates for a while now.

The Kendra cropped capri pants come in 6 different colour-ways and the selection is incredible! I chose this colour-way as I wanted to try a more 'Tiki/Hawaiian' look - I'm so glad I did, I'm enjoying looking more summery and trying new looks.

The Capri pants retail at £19.99 which is perfect if you are a pin-up on a budget. Made of 97% cotton, they feature a flattering waist with belt loops! I'm a big fan of belt loops on pants, it kind of annoys me when they don't have any. This is helpful as I ordered the trousers in 16 and they are actually a bit too big for me; however, I've saved it with my Pinup Girl clothing patent belt.

The trouser cuffs are turned up at the bottom which helps create the classic Capri pants look. I find that the high waist is extremely flattering on my hips and waist, Since I haven't ever owned a pair of Capri pants before, I wasn't sure whether they would sit on my waist or on my hips, but thankfully they are high waisted. It's such a good look for my bum, hehe.

The pants zip up on the side but is quite hidden. My only issue with these is that the clip at the top of the zip that holds the pants together whilst you zip up, has snapped off in one wear. This isn't a big bother for me though as there is plenty of room in the waist for me not to need to use it.

The Cilla top is made with a figure hugging design, the stretch cotton gives for a little room but apart from that, it really clings to your torso, complimenting your figure. I chose this because I realised that it's a dupe for Pinup Girl Clothing's 'Doris' top. It's lined body and turned up sleeves are really flattering and feminine, as well as the collared neckline. It's just so so gorgeous, I really cannot fault it. Like the Capris, it has a hidden zip on the side which makes it a lot easier to put on. I ordered this in a size 14, which is a perfect fit for me.

I'm so pleased with these two items, I cannot wait to wear more of them over the summer months to come.
